XRP book activity falls to rare lows, as traders keep a close eye on whether the $1.50 mark can be r

XRP Ledger\'s activity hit a new low for the year, and the market is waiting for the key level of $1.50.

XRP Ledger\'s on-chain activity fell to one of the weakest levels in 2026. The number of daily active wallets was only 25,350, the second lowest level in the year. The number of new wallets also fell to 2,130, the lowest since November 2024. The pullback followed a bargain-hunting boom at the end of June, pushing XRP back into a calmer market phase-traders no longer chasing short-term rallies and waiting for stronger catalytic signals.

XRP is currently trading at approximately $1.11, with a 24-hour trading volume of approximately $1 billion, and a market value of approximately $69.1 billion. The token still ranks sixth in the market value of crypto assets, but its price has never exceeded the $1.50 area-a position that has been repeatedly seen as a level that bulls need to effectively recover.

This slowdown is in sharp contrast to the previous on-chain explosion of XRP. In May this year, as many as 4,300 new addresses were added in 24 hours, providing traders with a stronger signal of network growth, and XRP was also struggling to break through resistance at the time.

$1.50 is still a watershed in the market.

The $1.50 area has become a key position for substantial changes in the XRP market structure. If the price returns to this range, it will not only recover recent losses, but will also bring the token closer to the test range when large households increase their holdings more intensively. XRP Whale Wallet has previously accumulated the largest total position in nearly eight years-a wallet holding at least 10 million XRP coins and controlled 45.83 billion tokens during an earlier hit of $1.50.

However, this currency holding background is not enough to maintain chain activity. The weakness of active addresses has left XRP now relying on new drivers such as payments, stablecoins, tokenized assets or broader altcoin liquidity.

RLUSD and RWA capital flows still attract attention

XRP Ledger still has multiple narratives that are expected to reactivate on-chain activity. The adoption of RLUSD, institutional payment channels, tokenized assets, EVM sidechains and proposed lending instruments are all at the core of discussions in the current XRP market. XRPL recently led the inflow of RWA (Real World Assets) funds in 90 days, reaching US$1.9 billion. Even as the number of daily active wallets cooled, the network returned to the center of institutional asset topics.

Ripple\'s cooperation with Ondo and JPMorgan Chase also links XRP Ledger activities to tokenized bond redemption and bank payment tracks; at the same time, Ripple\'s investment in Flutterwave provides a new test scenario for RLUSD and XRPL in the field of commercial settlement.

Current on-chain readings show that XRP is clearly divided: Internet usage is near rare lows, while the asset still has large-market liquidity, RWA appeal and a stablecoin-driven payment narrative.
