Digital asset investors reiterate long-term view of XRP: its significance goes beyond the asset itself.
One digital asset investor once again reiterated his long-term view of XRP, pointing out that its importance is not limited to its role as a digital asset. In a video posted on Platform X (formerly Twitter), the commentator said he had spent nearly a decade explaining why he believed XRP represented a major development in the global financial system, rather than just a simple investment opportunity.
Digital assets beyond portfolios
The analyst, known as a "digital asset investor", was the first to explain that his interest in XRP did not stem from viewing it as another asset added to his portfolio. He said people may only encounter major opportunities of this magnitude once or twice in their lives.
"I have always believed that XRP will be the wave for the next two hundred years," he said, emphasizing his firm belief in the long-term importance of the digital asset.
He then quoted Black Swan Capitalist Versan, arguing that these remarks captured what he understood as the reason why the XRP community grew. According to Digital Asset Investors, the size of the community reflects public belief in XRP's potential broader role in the financial system.
XRP: A Global Agenda
Related video clips show Versan's discussion of establishing a global standardized digital value system. He pointed out that this is a global effort to regulate the flow of digital value through a few systems that can be supervised, coordinated and scaled by governments and major agencies.
Versan linked this view to organizations such as the World Bank, the International Monetary Fund (IMF), and the Bank for International Settlements (BIS). According to him, these institutions have been developing the policies needed around cross-border payments, settlement risk, interoperability and tokenized financial infrastructure for years.
He further stated that these institutions are not waiting for broad public approval before moving forward with plans, but are waiting for conditions to be ripe to accelerate changes in the financial system.
XRP is not an investment, but part of the global agenda
After the video clip ended,"Digital Asset Investors" said Versan accurately summarized what he believed to be the nature of XRP. He rejected the idea of viewing XRP only through traditional investment frameworks.
His stance is more direct: "XRP is not an investment."
Finally, he reiterated his belief that XRP formed part of what he called the "global agenda." Therefore, the core of these comments is XRP's potential role in cross-border payments, interoperability, and the development of tokenized financial infrastructure.
