A crypto-whale exchanged 1,107 bitcoins worth approximately US$86.5 million into 34,422 Ethereum on the Hyperliquid platform, and subsequently fully pledged the position.

According to Lookonchain data, the investor sold 1,107 bitcoins worth US$86.76 million through Hyperliquid in five times in the past five days, and immediately spent approximately US$86.5 million to purchase 34,422 Ethereum and pledged all positions. This transaction is different from regular portfolio adjustments because the giant whale does not put Ethereum in an immediate tradeable state. However, the decision does not confirm a specific investment period or that other large holders are following up on such operations. Giant whales often rebalance their portfolios due to market conditions, technical signals, liquidity needs or risk management strategies.

Bitcoin tests resistance, key breakthroughs are critical

Bitcoin is currently trading around US$81,500 and is testing a resistance range between US$81,500 and US$82,000. Previously, Bitcoin had been repeatedly blocked in this region during May, so achieving a decisive breakthrough was crucial to continuing the rally.
