XRP Ledger payment transaction volume rebounded significantly, surging 386% in 24 hours
XRP Ledger (XRPL) payment transaction volume has recently rebounded significantly. In the past 24 hours, daily activity surged 386% to approximately 583.3 million XRP. This sharp increase comes after a particularly sluggish trading session, and Internet activity has gradually returned to its recent normal range.
Strong recovery from a low base
According to ledger data, current trading volumes are still slightly below the 30-day average (approximately 638 million XRP). Although the daily growth rate of 386% may seem considerable, it is mainly due to the network's recovery from abnormally low activity levels. Long-term charts show that XRP Ledger's payment transaction volume fluctuates frequently. Historically, daily trading volumes have often exceeded 1 billion XRP, and have exceeded 2 billion XRP several times. The highest single-day trading volume in history is close to 7 billion XRP.
Even with the latest daily trading volume of 583 million XRP, current activity has not yet reached the extraordinary levels seen at past peaks. However, the speed of this rebound is noteworthy, as it puts trading volumes back in line with historical trends. Continued stability above the 30-day average of 638 million XRP would indicate that trading activity is accelerating, pointing to continued growth of the network rather than just a return to equilibrium after a brief decline. Historically, data of more than 1 billion XRP sets a high threshold for "extraordinary activities."
XRP price trend and technical analysis
At the same time, the price of XRP stabilized at about US$1.51. Since its September breakout, the asset has been consolidating in a narrow range of $1.48 to $1.53, after the price climbed from about $1.30 to $1.60. In recent trading days, several attempts to restart the rally failed to break through this range.
Technical analysis shows that XRP is trading above its short-term moving average (US$1.45) and significantly above the main long-term moving averages clustered in the US$1.35 to US$1.40 range. The Relative Strength Index (RSI) remains neutral and bullish, indicating that the market is stable and there are no signs of excessive speculation.
To move further, XRP needs to regain its key position of $1.55 and test resistance between $1.60 and $1.65. If the price falls below $1.45, the current trading structure will face serious weakening.
The continued recovery in trading volume provided a positive on-chain signal for XRP, but analysts stressed that one day of data alone was not enough to confirm trends. If trading volume continues to remain above the 30-day average, it will provide stronger evidence for the increase in XRP Ledger utilization.
