SUI prices hover around US$0.72, the TD Sequential indicator sends a buy signal, and key support levels attract attention.

SUI, a Layer-1 blockchain project developed by Mysten Labs, is currently trading at approximately US$0.72. Technical indicators indicate that the token may be at a critical juncture in a trend shift. Analyst Ali Martinez identified the TD Sequential buy signal on SUI's 12-hour chart, which had previously accurately marked the token's 17% gain and momentum shift.

Key technical signals and price levels

Martinez pointed out that the TD Sequential indicator has pointed to major trend turning points many times in SUI's recent chart history. The latest signal appears near the price range of $0.71 - 0.73, as SUI is testing the lower edge of the key support area. Martinez emphasized that if the closing price decisively falls below US$0.71, it may open up space for a lower level of US$0.62 - 0.63; and if there is a rebound, the SUI target price will be US$0.85 and may hit the US$1 mark again.

SUI is currently trading around US$0.71, and the TD Sequential indicator suggests a possible momentum reversal. If this level is clearly broken below, SUI may face the risk of further decline; if prices move upwards, the market focus will shift back to US$1.

Another analyst, Michaël van de Poppe, also sees the US$0.71 - 0.73 region as a key support level and believes it is expected to stabilize. He argued that if the SUI could recover to $0.85, resistance above the dollar would become relevant again. According to van de Poppe, if this support is maintained and the SUI rebounds to $0.85, a price range above $1 will soon enter the market view.

Mini Dictionary: TD Sequential

This is a price-based technical analysis tool that tracks a series of price candle charts to identify moments when trends in financial markets may be approaching exhaustion or reversing. A complete buying pattern usually indicates the possibility of a price reversal, but does not guarantee a new bullish trend.

Market data and on-chain activity

Market data from CoinMarketCap shows that SUI fluctuates in the range of US$0.7063 to US$0.7305 over a 24-hour period. Its maximum supply is 10 billion coins, and the circulation supply is approximately 4.09 billion coins.

The growth in institutional demand is partly due to the launch of new regulatory compliance products. Starting from February 2026, the 21Shares Sui ETF will be traded on Nasdaq under the symbol TSUI, allowing investors to directly obtain spot exposure to SUI and include potential pledge functions for their positions. CME Group (Chicago Mercantile Exchange Group) also launched SUI and Micro SUI futures, expanding derivatives access for large market participants. These products have broadened market exposure, but so far it has not been confirmed whether there has been continued capital inflows.

SUI's on-chain data further highlights the growth momentum. According to reports, the cumulative number of online transactions has exceeded 16.17 billion, and the market value of stablecoins has exceeded 457 million US dollars. DeFiLlama reported that the value of stablecoins on the SUI network recently rose to US$463.67 million, up nearly 9% in a week, while the total lock-in value (TVL) in the DeFi agreement reached US$457.13 million.

Indicators Value Market value of stablecoins US$463.67 million DeFi TVL US$457.13 million Cumulative number of online transactions 16.17 billion times USDC Market Share 63.88% Maximum Supply 10 billion SUI Circulation Supply 4.09 billion SUI

USDC dominates SUI's stablecoin sector, accounting for approximately 64% of that value, with other assets including Sui Dollar, FDUSD, BUCK, USDY, suiUSDe and USDT. Therefore, the liquidity situation of the network is closely related to the performance of a single stablecoin.

SUI faces supply and leverage pressures

Despite increased institutional access and network expansion, SUI still faces continued supply pressures. About 64 million SUIs are released into circulation every month. Although it increases liquidity, it may also cause prices to decline. The decline in the total lock-in value (TVL) in the DeFi protocol is another major concern for market stability, as capital flows can be extremely rapid during times of stress or when funds flow to competing blockchains.

Currently, SUI's futures market trading volume is larger than that in the spot market, which increases the risk of amplified price fluctuations due to the closing of leveraged positions. Although technical indicators suggest a possible reversal, actual price movements near the US$0.71 support remain a key factor in determining the short-term outlook for SUI.
