PeckShield reveals: The same attacker launched a series of attacks on Fetch.ai, NuNet and SingularityNET.

Blockchain security company PeckShield recently disclosed that an attacker was involved in a series of attacks on Fetch.ai, NuNet and SingularityNET projects. According to shared data, the attacker caused approximately US$2 million in damage on the Fetch.ai and NuNet projects, and illegally minted hundreds of millions of tokens on SingularityNET.

Fetch.ai and NuNet suffered heavy losses

According to PeckShield data, in the Fetch.ai attack, attackers hijacked 8.7 million FET tokens worth approximately US$1.53 million. On the NuNet side, attackers reportedly illegally minted 408.5 million NTX tokens worth approximately US$462,000. Affected by this, NuNet's NTX token price fell sharply, with a drop of approximately 65%.

In addition, reports pointed out that the attackers have converted some of the assets obtained from the Fetch.ai and NuNet attacks into Ethereum (ETH), and so far, they have obtained approximately 546.36 ETH, worth approximately US$1.44 million.

SingularityNET encountered large-scale illegal minting

PeckShield also revealed that the same address was also related to the SingularityNET attack. According to its analysis, the attacker illegally minted 260 million AGIX and 53.838 million WMTX tokens on the Ethereum network.
