DEX transaction volume surged 55% in seven days

Hedera Network has recently shown some of the strongest on-chain data performances in recent years. According to DefiLlama, Hedera's decentralized exchange (DEX) transaction volume has increased by 55% in the past week, bringing the total transaction volume processed across the network to $49.32 million. At the same time, the total lock-in value (TVL) has also increased by nearly 5% in the past 24 hours, further confirming the rebound in overall activity volume.

The busiest day during this time period was September 29, when Hedera's DEX transaction volume exceeded US$17 million. Data from DefiLlama confirmed the chain's weekly trading volume of US$49.32 million and a 55% weekly growth rate.

SaucerSwap leads the game

@SaucerSwapLab, as the main force driving this transaction volume growth, performed particularly well. As of mid-2026, SaucerSwap has become the DEX with the largest transaction volume on the Hedera network, with a cumulative transaction volume of more than US$6 billion and more than 19 million transactions. The agreement combines automatic market maker, centralized liquidity pool and central limit order book functions, while supporting revenue farming and one-way pledge.

SaucerSwap chose to build on top of Hedera because of its ability to support fast, high-volume transactions at a lower cost and leveraging the Hedera consensus service to build a governance structure.

The surge in DEX activity on Hedera reflects a broader trend of increased online engagement. In the first quarter of 2026, Hedera's average daily active wallet number increased by 140% year-on-year, reaching an average of 18,000. As early as the beginning of 2026, the total number of transactions since the launch of the network's main network has exceeded the 50 billion mark. For users who are concerned about $HBAR, the continued growth in on-chain transaction volume is an important signal to measure real network demand, so this week's data deserves close attention.
