ETH Ethereum (ETH) co-founder Vitalik Buterin points out that artificial intelligence (AI)-assisted math research may weaken widely used cryptographic techniques earlier than expected. Still, he advises users not to rush to transfer money.

Buterin's wallet security warning

Drake believes that large holders should consider using new addresses, with their public keys hidden behind the hash, because in theory the ECDSA could expire in months rather than years.
