Securitize launches blockchain-based trading service for 12 U.S. stocks on Solana

Securitize launched a blockchain-based stock trading service on the Solana Network through its regulated brokerage platform. The service gives eligible traders access to digital securities backed by actual shares, including Apple, Nvidia and Microsoft. The service launched on October 8 not only introduces USDC settlement functions, but also plans to expand to more regulated trading venues in the future to achieve continuous trading.

Share-Endorsement Digital Securities in Support of Shareholders 'Equity

The new "Securitize Stocks" service covers the shares of 12 companies including Apple, Microsoft, Nvidia, Alphabet, Tesla, Meta, Amazon, Netflix, Circle, SpaceX, Strategy and Palantir. The service is accessible to qualified participants from the United States, the European Union and other approved jurisdictions. At the same time, Securitize manages transactions through its registered broker-dealers and strictly enforces existing securities regulations.

Each digital token represents a security right backed by underlying shares held through a brokerage structure. Therefore, the holder is entitled to corresponding economic benefits, including dividends and voting rights (when the corresponding shares have these rights). This mechanism distinguishes the product from synthetic tools that only track stock prices but do not convey underlying shareholder equity.

Securitize also plans to support direct share registration through its convertible securities rights structure. However, this conversion requires the issuing company to introduce eligible tokenization arrangements. The structure establishes a connection between traditional securities ownership and blockchain transfers, while retaining existing legal protections.

Solana Network supports USDC settlement and extended trading hours

Securitize selected Solana as the initial blockchain platform for its tokenized stock trading service. The platform uses USDC for settlement and processes transactions through a proprietary automated market maker. In addition, Jump Trading provides market-making services, liquidity and price discovery functions to customers participating in transactions.

Currently, the company mainly supports trading during extended trading hours in the U.S. stock market rather than continuous trading around the clock. However, as trading infrastructure develops, Securitize plans to gradually introduce 24-hour trading services. At the same time, the company does not currently support lending underlying shares, but is exploring independent lending and mortgage applications for token holders.

This release follows the growing trend of blockchain-based securities and other tokenized financial instruments. Ondo Finance and several competing platforms have launched tokenized stock products on different blockchain networks. At the same time, as financial institutions expand access to traditional securities, the Solana network has attracted more tokenized equity activity.

Goal expands to NYSE and OKXICE trading venues

Securitize plans to connect its stock tokens to the New York Stock Exchange's proposed digital securities trading platform. The exchange is designed to support continuous trading, although its launch depends on regulatory and operational requirements. The integration will allow distribution channels to go beyond Securitize's existing brokerage platform.

The company also expects to launch its securities products through the planned OKXICE tokenized securities platform. OKXICE combines the technology of cryptocurrency exchange OKX with the infrastructure of the Intercontinental Exchange (ICE), and its proposed platform is designed to provide round-the-clock trading, fast settlement, and blockchain-based securities access services.

At the same time, regulatory compliance remains at the core of Securitize's expansion in international markets. The company requires users to complete identity verification, jurisdiction qualification checks, and comply with applicable securities laws. As Securitize expands tokenized stock trading from its original Solana deployment to a wider market, these requirements will strictly regulate user access qualifications.
