According to RWA.xyz data, in the past month, the amount of tokenized stock transfers more than doubled to US$8.41 billion, and on-chain stock market activity continues to accelerate.
The data platform shows that during the same period, distributed value in the field also increased by 43% to US$2.16 billion, and the number of holders increased by 17% to more than 409,000.
Growth is led by several of the largest tokenization platforms in the market. Figure\'s distributed value has soared 935% in the past 30 days, Securitize has grown 332%, and xStocks has grown approximately 62%.
data shows that Ondo is still the largest distributed value tokenized stock platform, with approximately US$846 million, followed by xStocks with approximately US$708 million, Securitize with US$306 million, and Figure with US$239 million.
Tokenized stocks.
Tokenized stocks outperformed other sectors of the RWA market. The distributed value of tokenized U.S. Treasuries, the largest asset class in the space, has remained largely flat over the past month, while the overall tokenized RWA market grew by approximately 4% to $33.5 billion.
Crypto and Wall Street compete to tokenize stocks. According to RWA.xyz data, in the past year, the tokenized stock market has grown from approximately US$378 million to US$2.16 billion, an increase of approximately 471%.
This growth has been accompanied by a wave of new tokenized stock issues on major cryptocurrency exchanges. During the SpaceX IPO, Kraken, Bybit and Bitget Wallet leveraged xStocks infrastructure to provide tokenized pre-IPO access. Although customer demand exceeds available share allocations, this highlights investors \'growing interest in blockchain-based securities.
This momentum has spread to the public market. Earlier this month, Securitize became the first newly listed company to issue tokenized shares on both Solana and Avalanche blockchains when listing on the New York Stock Exchange.
Some traditional financial giants are also accelerating their own tokenization process. In May this year, DTCC announced plans to launch tokenized securities services in October, having previously obtained regulatory approval to provide tokenized services on pre-approved blockchains during a three-year pilot period.

Earlier this year, the New York Stock Exchange and its parent company, the Intercontinental Exchange, announced plans for a platform to trade tokenized stocks and ETFs, while Nasdaq is working with Kraken and infrastructure company Backed to develop technology to connect traditional stocks and blockchain networks.
As competition between cryptocurrency native companies and traditional financial companies intensifies, ICE CEO Jeffrey Sprecher has urged regulators to allow traditional exchanges to offer 7×24-hour on-chain perpetual contracts, arguing that regulated trading venues should be able to compete with cryptocurrency native platforms.
