XRPL has completed more than one million commercial transactions driven by artificial intelligence through the x402 protocol. At the same time, XRPL AI Hub was officially launched and released the latest ecosystem activity data.
Heurist Mesh and LucyOS contribute the largest number of AI payment transactions, while AskSurf efficiently expands real-time data purchases in the XRP Ledger ecosystem.
Vet said that predictable fees, fast settlement speeds and built-in decentralized exchanges make XRPL ideal for autonomous machine payments using XRP and RLUSD.
According to data released by t54 and the XRP Ledger Foundation, XRP Ledger has processed more than one million AI-driven commercial transactions through the x402 protocol. This milestone coincides with the launch of XRPL AI Hub, which provides new insights into how autonomous AI agents can use XRP and Ripple USD for machine-to-machine payments.
According to XRPL Foundation contributor Vet, these data show that AI-driven business activities are no longer limited to experimental testing. Instead, autonomous software agents can now perform commercial payments across multiple services without direct human involvement. Currently, XRPL AI Hub tracks 121 active merchants. However, most payment activity comes from a small group of infrastructure providers that support AI applications and automated computing services.
AI platform dominates XRPL trading activities
According to released data, Heurist Mesh leads the network with 404,091 transactions. This decentralized platform allows AI agents to automatically lease GPU computing power for model reasoning and other processing tasks. Meanwhile, LucyOS generated 367,733 transactions through its operating system built specifically for autonomous AI agents. The platform enables software agents to independently process payments while exchanging services and coordinating workloads.
AskSurf recorded another 23,076 transactions, supporting its AI-driven search capabilities by purchasing structured data in real time. In addition to these leading platforms, dozens of other wallets contributed the remaining transaction volume. Each wallet performs an average of about 2,400 operations, indicating that developers have begun deploying standardized autonomous AI agents in different applications. As a result, the latest data suggests that commercial AI payments are now a measurable activity on XRP Ledger, rather than an isolated experiment.
Predictable fees support autonomous AI payments
According to Vet, the x402 protocol removes humans from the settlement process because software agents directly manage balances without relying on bank cards or traditional payment systems. In addition, XRPL\'s fixed and low transaction fees help developers more accurately estimate operating costs. This consistency is becoming increasingly important because AI agents often execute thousands of transactions in daily operations.
In addition, the network provides fast settlement speeds and access to global XRP liquidity. Its built-in decentralized exchange can also automatically convert assets at any time without relying on external platforms. Vet said these features make XRP Ledger well suited to the growing agency economy, where autonomous software regularly exchanges value without human participation.
Chandler Feng, co-founder of t54, also recognized this milestone. According to Feng, the development process was slow at first and then accelerated, eventually resulting in more than one million AI-driven commercial transactions. Transaction data also showed that more than 77% of total activity came from the three major AI infrastructure providers. This concentration reflects the accelerating adoption of platforms that have integrated automated payment capabilities into their services.
Conclusion
The milestone of one million transactions and the launch of XRPL AI Hub highlight the expansion of commercial use of autonomous AI agents on XRP Ledger. According to t54 and the XRP Ledger Foundation, XRP and RLUSD are increasingly supporting machine-to-machine payments in a growing network of AI-driven applications.
