Trust Wallet is now natively integrated with Robinhood Chain, the Ethereum Layer 2 main network launched by Robinhood on July 1. Self-managed wallet users can now send, redeem and receive operations on the network, covering crypto-native tokens, real-world assets, and stock tokens that track U.S. stocks and ETFs.
This integration allows Robinhood\'s latest technology infrastructure to reach one of the largest retail user groups in the encryption space. With more than 220 million users worldwide, Trust Wallet is the most widely used self-managed wallet, which means Robinhood Chain can be distributed in markets not yet covered by Robinhood\'s own brokerage apps.
Robinhood Chain is a permissionless network built on the Arbitrum technology stack designed to tokenize real-world assets and complete settlement on Ethereum. Stock tokens on the chain can be traded around the clock, are not limited by exchange opening hours, and can be used as collateral or injected into the lending market. No native tokens were issued when the chain was launched, and the gas fee was paid in ETH.
For Trust Wallet users, the practical effect is that stock-linked assets can now coexist in the same wallet as regular cryptographic assets and are kept by the same private key. Integration does not change the custody model, and the balance is always controlled by the user.
Trust Wallet said in an announcement: \"Trust Wallet has natively integrated with Robinhood Chain launched by Robinhood Crypto. You can seamlessly send, redeem and receive crypto-native assets and stock tokens in the self-managed Trust Wallet app.\"
Robinhood publicly positions the chain as a settlement infrastructure for tokenized securities and serves as a bridge between brokerage products and decentralized financial agreements. Uniswap, Lighter, 1inch and Arcus have been connected to the chain since their first day of launch, while Chainlink provides oracle data.
Meme coin activities have also emerged rapidly and there have been no formal promotion activities. Robinhood CEO and co-founder Vlad Tenev responded directly to this phenomenon, writing: While the company is committed to making Robinhood Chain the best RWA (real-world asset) chain,\"it also performs well with Meme coins.\"
While networks launched by regulated financial institutions typically curb speculative trading or isolate it entirely, Robinhood Chain instead embraced the Meme coin category, while Trust Wallet integration provides users with a single interface to manipulate these assets.
This timing also reflects the positioning of tokenized assets in the broader market. Bonds and stocks on the chain have grown from theoretical product categories to multibillion-dollar market segments within a year, as issuers from asset managers to brokers compete for settlement volume. Wallet distribution is one of the limiting factors to this growth. The value of tokenized stocks is that they can access them without having to open an account with the issuer.
