Chainlink (LINK) shows signs of potential bullish reversal, with increased reserves boosting market sentiment.
Recent price movements and underlying market dynamics show signs of recovery. Chainlink (LINK) is showing early signs of potential bullish reversal. The shift came after a correction period following a round of local highs, triggering a re-speculation of the token's short-term prospects.
Technical Analysis and Key Support Levels
LINK fell from a local high of around $13.75 on September 7. As selling pressure intensified, it subsequently hit a low of $11.55 in trading. Although prices fell below the short-term 20, 50 and 100 exponential moving averages (EMA), LINK remains above the 200 EMA, which is currently around $11.00. This level is widely regarded as an important long-term reference point in technical analysis.
Market observers stressed that holding the support level of US$11.00 is crucial to maintaining the overall recovery structure. If sustained defense is achieved at this level, it will lay the foundation for the bulls to regain higher resistance areas.
The current short-term resistance range lies between US$11.66 and US$11.88, defined by a set of short-term moving averages. Technology traders believe that breaking through this moving average cluster is a key signal to confirm a new round of upward momentum.
Crypto analyst Trader Symba pointed out that the recent structure is similar to the bullish fractal pattern that has emerged in LINK's past cycles. Symba said that recovering short-term resistance could pave the way for horizontal consolidation, which in turn created the conditions for further upward expansion into the $17 - 18 region.
Market momentum and investor position positioning
The Relative Strength Index (RSI) has rebounded to 39.92, getting rid of oversold conditions, but has not yet given a clear signal to move into bullish territory. This suggests that although the selling momentum is weakening, the buyer has not yet gained decisive control.
In the derivatives market, CoinGlass data showed that LINK's trading volume increased 25.48% to US$547.26 million, indicating growing participation. At the same time, open interest fell 4.25% to $607.77 million, indicating that traders may be deleveraging or rebalancing positions rather than making new directional bets.
Analysts interpreted the divergence between increased trading activity and reduced open interest as a sign of caution. Investors are highly active in the market, but remain hesitant to take strong leveraged positions until further confirmation is obtained. The rise in LINK trading volume and the decline in open interest contracts suggest that traders are staying cautious and may be reducing their leverage exposure.
Chainlink reserve accumulation and its impact
Chain data shows that the accumulation of Chainlink strategic reserves continues. Data from Onchain Lens shows that the reserve has recently added 91,100 LINKS (worth approximately US$1.06 million), bringing its monthly increase to approximately 511,000 LINKS (US$5.52 million). The foundation currently holds an estimated total of 5.86 million LINK, with a market value of approximately US$67.24 million.
While these individual increases may not directly drive prices higher, continued reserve growth has strengthened bullish sentiment, indicating that large holders are confident in the long-term outlook.
Mini Dictionary: Chainlink Reserve refers to the strategic position of LINK tokens controlled by the project party or related parties, and is usually used to support network functions, ecosystem development or pledge rewards. Monitoring changes in reserves can provide insight into project confidence and token supply dynamics.
For LINK, immediate's technical focus is to recover the resistance area of $11.66 to $11.88 and hold on to support at $11.00. A clear break through resistance levels can verify the bullish pattern identified by technical analysts and pave the way for further gains.
