The token price rose more than 6% after Bitwise CEO Matt Hougan emphasized the growth potential of NEAR Protocol (NEAR) in artificial intelligence. NEAR prices hit $5.38, with a cumulative increase of more than 130% in the past 30 days.
Hougan pointed out that the total transaction volume of the NEAR Intentions platform has exceeded US$30 billion, and revenue continues to grow. He emphasized that NEAR not only has expected future value, but also has practical current application scenarios.
Bitwise CEO makes eye-catching comments on NEAR
Bitwise CEO Matt Hougan sees NEAR Protocol as one of the current outstanding cryptocurrency projects, thanks to its existing business activities and the huge potential in the artificial intelligence space. Hougan said that while smaller crypto assets may have room to rise significantly, the value of most such assets is still largely based on unfulfilled expectations.
Hougan pointed out that NEAR is unique in that it has formed a significant transaction size. Data shows that the total transaction volume of NEAR Intention has exceeded US$30 billion, and the transaction volume in the past 30 days alone has exceeded US$4 billion. In addition, the platform's monthly revenue exceeded US$2 million, further supporting the market's expectations for its growth.
