渣打银行宣布在新加坡推出机构客户数字资产托管服务

总部位于伦敦的全球性银行渣打银行（Standard Chartered）宣布，计划在新加坡为机构客户提供数字资产托管服务。根据周四发布的新闻稿，该银行计划在符合适用监管要求的前提下，向符合合格投资者资格的机构客户和企业客户提供部分加密货币、稳定币以及代币化现实世界资产的托管服务。

渣打银行表示，新加坡作为“领先的金融和创新中心”的地位，是其“全球战略”的重要组成部分。此次拟推出的新加坡服务将扩大其现有的托管业务版图。

今年5月，渣打银行曾宣布通过收购Zodia Custody的托管业务并剥离Zodia Solutions来整合其托管运营，当时股东已接受其提出的要约。

在阿联酋地区，渣打银行的服务涵盖机构级加密货币交易和法币支付基础设施。该行上个月推出了现货比特币（BTC）和以太坊（ETH）交易服务。此外，其在6月与CoinMENA签署的银行协议支持该交易所的法币出入金通道、客户资金账户以及基于虚拟账户的交易管理。
