Bitcoin fell below US$77,000, crude oil prices exceeded US$90, triggering market shocks
On Tuesday, Bitcoin prices fell below US$77,000. The move followed a U.S. strike on Iranian targets, pushing crude oil prices above $90 a barrel, ending a week in which the asset was widely regarded as "staying strong."
After hitting an intraday low of about $76,483 million, Bitcoin traded around $7.6762, down from a high of about $7.9166 earlier in the day. Ethereum fell below $2400. According to CoinGlass data, approximately $115 million in long leveraged positions were cleared in the cryptocurrency market within an hour.
