On September 13, South Korean Bitcoin experienced a "kimchi premium" of 1.33%

As of 12:00 am Korean time on September 13, the trading price of Bitcoin (BTC) on the South Korean Upbit Exchange was 105.48 million won, an increase of 0.28% from the previous trading day. On Binance, a global exchange, the price of BTC is 104.1 million won, with a price difference of 1.38 million won between the two, forming a "kimchi premium" of 1.33%.

Mainstream altcoins generally show premium transactions

As the leading altcoin, Ethereum (ETH) also recorded a "kimchi premium" of 1.22%. Other major altcoins are also traded at a premium, with Solana (SOL) at a premium of 1.24%, XRP at 1.21%, Dogecoin (DOGE) at 1.27%, and Sui (SUI) at 1.18%. Currently, most mainstream altcoins present a "kimchi premium" in the range of 1.1% to 1.2%.
