The 4-hour chart shows a more obvious loss of bullish momentum. Since hitting the supply area of US$1.61 - 1.70, XRP has formed consecutive low highs, and the recent rebound has been difficult to maintain above US$1.52 - 1.55. Prices are currently consolidating around $1.52, slightly above recent lows around $1.47.
If sellers push XRP below these lows, the marked US$1.43 - 1.45 support area will become the next important support area. The area is at the bottom of the previous bullish acceleration period and may attract new buying interest. However, a decisive break would weaken the structure of the recovery and expose lower support levels of around $1.38, followed by a broader $1.25 - 1.32 support area.
In order to regain control, XRP needs to regain the resistance area of $1.52 - 1.55 and interrupt the series of consecutive low highs. This recovery may support a retest of $1.60 - 1.62, but to confirm a continuation of the bullish trend, a continued firm presence must be achieved above the broader $1.61 - 1.70 supply area.
