TLDR

Bitcoin ETF continues the momentum of capital inflows, Ethereum ETF reverses the trend

Last week, the U.S. spot Bitcoin ETF achieved a net inflow of US$241.1 million, setting a record for the third consecutive week of net capital inflows. At the same time, the Ethereum ETF turned into a net outflow of $138 million after attracting a net inflow of $690 million the previous week. The Zcash Fund recorded its first single-week net outflow in history, with an amount of approximately US$94 million. Solana and XRP ETFs continued their inflows, receiving net inflows of US$2.4 million and US$4.7 million respectively. The "Fear and Greed Index" of the crypto market remained in the "greedy" range of 70, down from the previous value of 74.

Bitcoin ETF: Capital inflows continue

Last week, Bitcoin ETF recorded a net capital inflow of US$241.1 million, and the cumulative net capital inflow since its listing has totaled US$57.8 billion. In the two weeks before this, these funds also achieved net inflows, with inflows reaching as high as $2.4 billion in one week and $6.2 million in the other week.

As of year-to-date 2026, the annual net capital inflow of Bitcoin ETF is approximately US$1.2 billion. This data reflects the inflow and outflow of all funds since the beginning of 2026. Spot Bitcoin ETFs hold actual Bitcoin assets rather than futures contracts, allowing investors to hold the asset indirectly through regular securities accounts.

According to CoinGecko data, the price of Bitcoin was approximately US$86,200 at the time of the report's release, up 3.7% in the past seven days.

Ethereum ETF: Trend reversal

In contrast to Bitcoin, the Ethereum ETF recorded a net outflow of $138 million last week. It is worth noting that in the previous week, similar funds attracted a net inflow of $690 million.

Despite the outflow, the Ethereum ETF has maintained positive earnings this year. According to SoValue, its year-to-date net capital inflows are approximately $1.5 billion. The operating model of the spot Ethereum ETF is similar to Bitcoin, and Ethereum is held directly by shareholders.

At the time of the report's release, Ethereum prices were around US$2,727, up 3% in the past seven days. This shows that within a week when the price of Ethereum rose, ETFs actually experienced capital outflows; in contrast, Bitcoin experienced both price increases and capital inflows.

Other altcoin ETFs and market sentiment

The Zcash fund recorded its first weekly net outflow in its history, of approximately US$94 million. Prior to this, Zcash-related products have never experienced a net outflow in a single week, and this data ends the previous winning streak.

Other altcoin ETFs maintained their inflow momentum. The Solana ETF increased $2.4 million and the XRP ETF increased $4.7 million. The number of consecutive weeks of inflows for both types of funds has been extended, but the total amount in a single week is smaller than Bitcoin and Ethereum products.

Market sentiment cooled slightly. The "Fear and Greed Index" of the crypto market released by Alternative.me measures from 0 to 100. The latest reading shows that the index remains in the "greedy" range of 70, down from the previous reading of 74.
