Switzerland Borg opens $WLD trading to retail and institutional investors
Switzerland Borg has launched Worldcoin token ($WLD) on the platform, officially opening access to retail users and institutional investors. Currently, users can not only deposit, withdraw and exchange $WLD between more than 400 other digital assets, but also enjoy one-click fiat conversion services in 12 countries.
Background of the Worldcoin Project
Worldcoin, now renamed "World", is a digital identity and cryptocurrency project co-founded by Sam Altman, Alex Blania and Max Novendstern.$ As the core token of the ecosystem, WLD's supporting World ID system aims to use World Orb hardware devices to verify whether users are independent individuals through iris and facial image recognition, thereby providing unique human identity.
Comply with MiCA Regulatory Framework and Intelligent Liquidity Routing
This launch coincides with the full transformation of Borg, Switzerland, to an operating system that complies with the European Union's Cryptographic Asset Markets Regulation (MiCA). Borg of Switzerland has obtained a MiCA license from the French Financial Markets Authority (AMF), which confirms its commitment to secure, transparent and fully compliant crypto-asset management. The app was developed by BlockNodes SAS, a company approved in France as a crypto asset service provider under MiCA regulations (number A2026-011).
For users, the practical value of the launch of $WLD is mainly reflected in execution efficiency. The platform's automated routing system gathers liquidity from more than 45 exchanges, making it easy for users to operate without managing off-chain wallets, cross-chain bridges or Gas tokens. Borg of Switzerland supports one-click redemption and multi-chain functions, allowing users to freely switch between different blockchain assets without having to manually cross chains.
Its "smart engine" combines the advanced routing technology of decentralized exchanges with the liquidity of top centralized exchanges to evaluate more market data in real time to maximize the best price for each transaction.
Compliance advantages and market significance
The addition of $WLD not only enriches Borg's trading catalog in Switzerland, but also provides a regulated European distribution channel for the Worldcoin ecosystem. This measure is of great significance at a time when MiCA compliance has become a basic requirement for EU user platforms.
As one of the few MiCA operating platforms fully licensed at AMF in France through BlockNodes SAS, Borg in Switzerland is particularly prominent. According to regulations, unauthorized platforms must cease operating in the European Economic Area (EEA) from July 1, 2026.
