It is worth noting that this innovative product allows traders to invest in major U.S. stocks and stock indexes such as Apple, Tesla and the S & P 500 without being limited by traditional trading hours. It allows traders to buy and sell the benchmark U.S. stock index 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, even during U.S. stock markets are closed. This means that traders can react and adjust positions at any time to events that affect the market.
In addition, using cryptocurrency as collateral eliminates the need to open a traditional brokerage account, allowing traders to use their digital assets to participate in global financial markets. This development is particularly important for traders in areas with limited access to traditional stocks and financial markets.
What is an equity offender?
Stock perpetual contracts are perpetual contracts provided by BitMEX that allow traders to invest in U.S. stocks at any time. These contracts track the price of the underlying asset and use a funding rate mechanism to keep prices in sync with the market. Traders can use leverage of up to 20 times for long or short transactions, and can use cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin or TEDA as collateral.

Interpretation mechanism
BitMEX\'s Equity Perps provides 24-hour trading of U.S. stocks and indices, with cryptocurrency as collateral. This provides traders with greater flexibility and more trading opportunities. The product is designed to serve existing cryptocurrency derivatives users and retail traders who are unable to trade U.S. stocks or are not in Wall Street trading hours.
This product adopts a capital rate mechanism to keep the price consistent with the underlying reference index, and funds are exchanged every eight hours. If corporate action occurs, such as a share split, the affected contracts will be settled early and re-listed after the action is completed.
