On the crypto market, Solana (SOL) once again caught the attention of investors. This week, SOL rose by 4.5%, reaching around $193.33 per token, indicating a strong rebound. What’s more surprising is that this upward trend wasn’t interrupted by any regulatory uncertainties. The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) recently announced that it would postpone making a final decision on the Solana ETF applications submitted by Bitwise and 21Shares. The new deadline is October 16, 2025. In other words, until then, the SEC must decide whether to approve or reject these applications. Despite this uncertainty, Solana continues to demonstrate strong market resilience, which makes many investors more hopeful about its future performance.

CMC News: The SEC has postponed the approval of the SOL ETF until October.

The SEC stated that it needs more time to review issues related to market integrity, investor protection, and whether Solana should be classified as a security or commodity.

This approach is similar to how Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs were handled. These ETFs also faced delays before being finally approved. However, concerns regarding Solana’s relative maturity and control over its distribution remain.

Institutional interest in Solana shows confidence.

Despite regulatory uncertainties, institutional interest in Solana continues to grow. The assets under management of REX Shares’ Solana Pledge ETF have exceeded $150 million, with daily inflows reaching $13 million, and trading volume reaching $66 million.

These data highlight the willingness of investors to take advantage of limited regulated products in order to obtain Solana exposure.

Latest developments: The first US-based Solana质押ETF, $SSK, recorded an inflow of $13 million today, while trading volume reached a new high of $66 million. This is the day with the highest trading volume since its launch, indicating growing demand for this ETF from the market.

Other major players, including Grayscale, Fidelity, ProShares, and Canary Funds, have submitted applications for Solana-related ETFs. BlackRock, however, has chosen to stay out of this market, focusing instead on Bitcoin and Ethereum products. This divergence highlights Solana’s unique risk-reward profile among institutional investors.

For crypto investors, there are three key points that deserve attention:

● Despite regulatory delays, institutional funding continues to flow into Solana.

● The activity around REX Shares ETF indicates early confidence in Solana’s future.

● Major companies are divided on this issue, with BlackRock choosing to remain neutral.

Technical outlook and market predictions for Solana (SOL/USD)

Price predictions for Solana are positive. After bouncing from $190, the token is currently above the 50-day simple moving average of $188. The bullish pattern remains intact.

The price trend follows an upward trend line, indicating that higher lows are forming—a common sign of sustained buying interest.

The Relative Strength Index (RSI) currently stands at 53, indicating that there is still room for further gains and that the market has not yet reached overbought territory. The MACD histogram remains near the zero line, with a potential golden cross occurring in the future. These indicators suggest that market momentum is accumulating, potentially leading to a breakout move.

The key resistance level is at $198, which forms the upper boundary of a rising triangle pattern. If the price can hold above this level, it could pave the way towards targets of $205 or even $214, continuing Solana’s bullish trend.

If the price fails to break through $198, traders should keep an eye on the strong support around $188-186. If the price drops below $174, it may indicate a weakening of the trend.
