Galaxy Digital released its Q3 financial reports, revealing a profit of $505 million. This achievement was mainly due to a significant increase in trading volume and higher demand from institutional investors. In this quarter, Galaxy’s trading volume increased by 140%, indicating a noticeable surge in activity among institutional investors in the crypto market. It seems that more and more large institutions are entering the crypto market, which is contributing to the rapid development of the industry.

Galaxy Digital reported strong profits in Q3, thanks to increased trading activities and continuous expansion in asset management services. This shows that institutions are showing sustained interest in financial services focused on cryptocurrencies.

The company announced that its net profit for the quarter ending September 30 was $505 million, with an adjusted income of $629 million. This was achieved through record-breaking performance in digital asset operations and investment returns. At the end of Q3, Galaxy S10’s equity value amounted to $3.2 billion, including $1.9 billion in cash and stablecoins.

Driven by increases in spot and derivatives trading volumes, trading volume increased by 140% compared to the previous quarter. This quarter, we executed a deal involving over 80,000 bitcoins for a major client.

Although Galaxy did not disclose the identity of its clients, as reported by Cointelegraph earlier, the company stated that this sale was part of an investor’s “more comprehensive estate planning strategy”.

In addition to its core trading operations, Galaxy is also expanding into the fields of data centers and high-performance computing infrastructure. Its Helios campus in Texas is a key component of this initiative, but significant profits are not expected until mid-2026.

In August this year, Galaxy received a loan of $1.4 billion for the expansion of its Helios data center. It has stated that through long-term partnerships with CoreWeave, annual revenues of around $1 billion can be generated. CoreWeave is a cloud computing company based in the United States, specializing in the construction of GPU infrastructure for artificial intelligence workloads.

Due to the news regarding its financial results, Galaxy Digital’s stock price increased significantly, rising nearly 16% at one point, and continued to rise during the afternoon session. The current trading price of the stock exceeds $43, representing an increase of about 9% over the day.

The momentum of the system is strengthening

Although Bitcoin remained relatively stable throughout the third quarter, Ethereum reached several years-high levels, and other digital assets also showed signs of new growth trends.

According to CoinGecko’s quarterly report for 2025, the global cryptocurrency market expanded for the third consecutive quarter, with values increasing by approximately $563 billion, reaching a total of $4 trillion. This is the highest level since 2021. Galaxy’s performance reflects this broader trend, highlighting the continued strong momentum of the entire digital asset industry.

The company also remains active in strategic matters, actively embracing the growing but sometimes controversial trend of managing digital assets. This quarter, Galaxy announced plans to collaborate with Cantor Fitzgerald, Multicoin Capital, and Jump Crypto on a $1.65 billion Solana financial management initiative.

According to Cointelegraph, this bull market is also reflected in exchange-traded products. BlackRock noted that due to strong investor inflows and fee revenues, its Bitcoin and Ethereum iShares funds contributed positively to the quarterly results.
