BNB Chain leads the growth of tokenized assets with a scale of US$3.6 billion

Driven by low costs, network efficiency and increasing global investor adoption rates, BNB Chain has achieved significant growth in the field of tokenized assets, totaling US$3.6 billion. At the same time, Solana increased by $2.6 billion and Stellar increased by $2.5 billion, both networks trailing BNB Chain in real-world asset (RWA) expansion in major markets. Although Ethereum's growth rate is relatively slow, it still maintains the largest overall RWA market share. Currently, the total value of blockchain tokenization of tracked networks has increased by more than 50%.

BNB Chain overtook Solana to become the fastest-growing tokenized real-world asset blockchain in early 2026

According to CryptoRank data, BNB Chain added US$3.6 billion in RWA value in the opening phase of 2026, ranking first among major networks. This growth further consolidates the network's position in the connection of traditional financial assets and decentralized blockchain infrastructure. Through tokenization technology, issuers can divide these assets into transferable digital units and record and settle them through the blockchain network.

BNB Chain's performance shows that more and more issuers are choosing its infrastructure for efficient asset creation, distribution and settlement. In addition, its low transaction costs and large user base provide practical advantages for projects that serve institutional and individual investors.

Solana and Stellar record strong RWA expansion

Solana ranked second with a $2.6 billion increase in RWA value, significantly lagging behind BNB Chain. However, Solana's results highlight the growing demand for tokenized products built on networks that provide high throughput and cheap transactions.

Stellar followed closely in third place, with an increase of US$2.5 billion, leaving the gap between the two networks to only US$100 million. Stellar's performance reflects its established role in asset issuance, cross-border payments, and financial services for institutional adoption.

Meanwhile, Ethereum ranks fourth despite holding the largest overall share of the blockchain-based real-world asset market. Ethereum recorded a growth of $1.6 billion, well below the growth reported by BNB Chain, Solana and Stellar. It should be noted that this ranking measures annual additions rather than the full RWA value of each network or its historical position in the field. Ethereum still benefits from deep liquidity, extensive developer support, and the infrastructure already used by many tokenized asset providers.

Industry Outlook: Competition drives improved compliance and interoperability

Among all blockchain networks, RWA value has increased by more than 50% since the beginning of 2026. This expansion represents approximately $39 billion in new assets, demonstrating the growing interest in bringing traditional tools to blockchain. As a result, competition may prompt networks to strengthen compliance systems, improve interoperability, and develop better tools for institutional issuers.

The US$3.6 billion growth achieved by BNB Chain gives it a clear growth advantage, although competition in the RWA space remains fierce. Its lead over Solana highlights changes in network preferences, a trend that is expected to continue as issuers increasingly assess cost, liquidity, accessibility and settlement efficiency.
