BTC TEDA cooperates with Shiga to launch self-managed financial products for Africa and Gulf countries.
On Sunday, September 28, Tether, a leader in the digital asset industry, announced that it is working with Shiga to promote self-managed financial products to individuals, businesses and institutional users in the African region and GCC member states. This cooperation is based on TEDA's open source Wallet Development Kit (WDK) and is based on TEDA's strategic investment in Shiga in 2025. It marks its expansion of blockchain financial infrastructure in two regions. A new step has been taken in terms of access to USD (TEDA's U.S. dollar stablecoin).
ENTa and Pulse: For consumers and institutions respectively
TEDA and Shiga will advance the program with two main products:
- ENTa: Allow individuals, high-net-worth users and businesses to inject capital into self-managed wallets using local currency, U.S. dollars or Bitcoin, and then hold and transfer USD, Bitcoin and XAU (stablecoins linked to gold).
- Pulse: Empowers banks, fintech companies and other institutions to build digital asset products around specific payment channels, fund management operations and settlement processes. The platform can be customized based on each institution's capital flow pattern, rather than providing a universal wallet interface.
WDK technology drives dual platforms

泰达币将此举定位为应对货币波动及高昂汇款成本的解决方案。数据显示，2025年向撒哈拉以南非洲地区汇款的平均成本高达8.46%。
泰达币首席执行官Paolo Ardoino表示：“WDK为企业提供了让用户掌控自身资产的工具。我们与Shiga合作，正将这些基础设施引入那些个人和企业面临保护储蓄及跨境资金流动挑战的市场。”
尼日利亚牌照即将获批
目前，Shiga正在完成尼日利亚“数字资产中介”牌照的最终审批阶段。一旦获得最终批准，该牌照将授权其在尼日利亚为个人和机构提供受监管的数字资产交易、经纪及托管服务。
Shiga表示，它将使用对外部客户提供的相同底层平台来运行ENTa，从而为潜在合作伙伴展示该基础设施的实际运作案例。此次扩张不仅丰富了开发者使用的钱包工具，也增加了企业客户正在采用的机构级稳定币清算轨道。
