SOL Samsung will introduce Solana-based USDC transfer to 82 million U.S. Galaxy devices through Samsung Wallet and Samsung Pay
Samsung announced that it will connect the Solana network-based USDC (USD Coin) transfer function to Samsung Wallet and Samsung Pay platforms, covering approximately 82 million Galaxy devices in the United States. The new feature supports cross-border transfers and includes a built-in automatic exchange service between USDC and local fiat currencies.
As Samsung continues to expand USDC access, Solana Network's stablecoin transaction volume has exceeded the US$5.25 trillion mark in 2026. This integration aims to provide users with a more convenient and efficient way to transfer funds across borders.

Users will complete the operation directly within the Samsung Wallet interface, which was originally used to manage daily credentials such as bank cards, boarding passes and electronic ID cards. It's worth noting that Solana's infrastructure will run in the background, and users will not have to download or switch to a separate cryptocurrency application.
The system provides an integrated deposit and withdrawal channel between fiat currencies and cryptoassets, allowing instant conversion between USDC and local currency. In the initial launch phase, it only supports Galaxy devices in the U.S. market. Samsung said it will gradually expand to other countries and regions in accordance with local regulatory requirements.

Solana稳定币交易量突破5.25万亿美元
此次与三星的合作正值Solana网络上稳定币活动显著增长之际。过去一年中，该链路上的稳定币供应量同比上涨近20%。仅在2026年，Solana处理过的稳定币交易总额就已超过5.25万亿美元。
目前，PayPal和Western Union等知名支付机构也在利用Solana进行稳定币相关业务。尽管此次 rollout 首先面向美国市场，但未来将根据各地区的合规情况逐步开放更多国家的支持。预计从10月下旬起，Samsung Wallet用户即可开始体验跨境USDC转账服务。
