BTC Binance is transitioning its business to stock trading.
Binance will shut down its mining pools, savings plans, cloud mining services, and transaction acceleration features on November 10 at 7:00 UTC. Miners must migrate their hardware to other mining pools by this deadline, while users who participate in the savings plan need to redeem their positions.
Binance’s mining pool was launched in April 2020. By the end of 2025, it ranked ninth among Bitcoin mining pools, accounting for approximately 2.3% of the total network capacity. This closure follows Binance’s decision to stop providing NFT services in July, as well as launching stock trading services for non-US users in June.
The Binance Mining Pool page will remain accessible until November 24, after which it will be permanently unavailable.

A cryptocurrency exchange announced on Tuesday that it will cease providing Bitcoin mining pool and related services on November 10. Affected services include Binance Mining Pool, mining pool savings, cloud mining, and transaction acceleration features. Additionally, Telegram notifications, email alerts, and the mining pool API will also cease to function.
In a statement, the company said, “As part of our ongoing review of products and services, Binance will discontinue the Binance Mining Pool and related services on November 10, 2026.”
Mining pools operate by integrating the computing power of multiple miners, with block rewards distributed based on each miner’s contribution. Cloud mining allows users to purchase computing power without owning any hardware. Transaction acceleration features help users prioritize Bitcoin transactions when confirmation times are too long due to low fees or heavy network traffic.
According to Hashrate Index data, since its launch in April 2020, Binance’s mining pool has achieved a computing power of approximately 26 exahashes per second. This represents 2.3% of the total network’s computing power, placing it as the ninth-largest mining pool for Bitcoin. The report indicates that Binance Mining Pool is one of the last remaining mining pools left after other exchanges began engaging in mining activities. The report suggests that the value of this mining pool is tied to Binance’s exchange and custody services, rather than solely dependent on its mining technology.
This closure marks Binance’s expansion into traditional financial sectors. On June 1st, the platform opened up trading permissions for more than 7,000 U.S. stocks and ETFs to customers outside the United States. Co-CEO Richard Teng stated that these transactions are free of commissions, and users can purchase fractional shares starting at $5. Binance has also previewed the upcoming bStocks feature, which allows users to create tokenized versions of their stocks on the BNB blockchain.
Ivan Patriki, co-founder of Quantmap, told Decrypt that large exchanges are entering the stock market because they no longer want to rely on the cyclical fluctuations of the crypto market. Vytautas Mackonis, CCO of ALCUM Real-World Assets Protocol, pointed out that this framework is more complex than it seems: Binance acts as the interface, Nest Trading handles brokerage services, while Alpaca Securities is responsible for custody.
Additionally, Binance ceased operations of its centralized NFT service on July 3rd, advising users to transfer their tokens to their decentralized wallets—the Binance Wallet.
