Cantina的Apex工具捕获签名绕过漏洞
As early as the beginning of 2026, Cantina AI’s proprietary vulnerability detection tool Apex identified a critical flaw in the proposed batch transaction amendments for XRPL. The vulnerability occurred during the signature verification process. Attackers could create batch transactions that allowed them to transfer funds without accessing the victim’s private key. Hari Mulackal, the CEO of Cantina and Spearbit, stated that this vulnerability posed a risk to nearly $80 billion in assets. Subsequently, the verification nodes rejected these amendments and quickly released a patch. On May 29th, security researcher Taylor Hornby used Anthropic’s Claude Opus 4.8 model along with custom analysis tools to audit Zcash’s Orchard shielded pool. He discovered a vulnerability that had been present since May 2022. This bug allowed attackers to generate unlimited amounts of fake ZEC tokens, which were undetectable. Zero-knowledge proof systems would typically recognize such fraudulent transactions as legitimate ones. Hornby reported this issue, and a patch was deployed on June 2nd. Although ZEC’s price dropped significantly after the discovery, no confirmed cases of actual exploitation were reported. From tools to infrastructure: The role of AI in cryptocurrencies is evolving. XRP’s AI infrastructure continues to expand.Although AI tools have made significant progress in the field of security, XRP is also advancing at a rapid pace in other areas related to AI. The x402 protocol enables AI agents to automatically process payments and pay fees for computing services. XRPL has processed over 10 million x402 transactions—a figure achieved in less than three months after reaching the 1-million-transaction mark. Ripple, as a premium member, has joined the x402 Foundation, working alongside organizations such as Visa, Mastercard, Google, and Stripe. Currently, AI transactions account for 25% of the network’s total transactions. The XRPL AI Hub currently lists 160 merchants and 2,276 online services.
