DOGE Bitwise CEO：狗狗币ETF的关闭“令人遗憾”，揭示传统投资者与加密用户间的鸿沟
Bitwise的首席执行官Hunter Horsley将该公司现货狗狗币（DOGE）ETF（代码：BWOW）的关闭形容为“令人遗憾”。他指出，这只基金短暂的生命周期暴露了传统ETF投资者与使用加密经纪商应用的用户之间存在的明显差距。
Horsley在2026年亚洲数字资产峰会期间接受The Block采访时发表了上述观点，并将这一结果定性为受众错位带来的教训，而非加密资产类别本身的失败。
纽交所上的短暂历程
狗狗币的ETF包装形式从未在机构投资者中站稳脚跟。BWOW于2025年11月在纽约证券交易所（NYSE）推出，但在上市不到一年后即将关闭，交易定于10月14日后结束。截至10月7日，该基金的资产规模约为72.587万美元，9月的交易量仅为51,480美元。截至9月25日，BWOW累计净流出资金达138万美元。
Bitwise于2026年9月10日正式宣布清算并关闭BWOW，理由是“需要优化产品范围以满足不断变化的投资者需求”。剩余股东将获得截至10月21日的每股净资产价值，并于10月22日以现金形式分发。
投资者与用户：难以弥合的分歧
Horsley called the result "regrettable" and said the failure highlighted the gap between ETF buyers and users of crypto broker apps. Although he personally holds a firm belief in Dogecoin tokens and admits that there is a disconnect, he said that he likes and holds Dogecoin, believing that although it has no practical use in history, it is real and represents a certain spirit; at the same time, he also admitted that ETF investors are reluctant to allocate the asset, but this attitude may change over time.
Horsley pointed out that the results show that an asset's popularity in the crypto space does not necessarily translate into demand for ETFs. He denied that Bitwise targeted the wrong audience, emphasizing that crypto ETFs are a bridge connecting investors and crypto assets.
This is in sharp contrast to the performance of other Bitwise products. Horsley mentioned the Bitwise Solana Pledged ETF (BSOL), which has assets of approximately $1.3 billion. He said that the pledge feature has boosted the product's development, and investors are mainly attracted by Solana's role in stablecoins, tokenized assets and on-chain services.
Although the spot dogcoin fund seemed to be very popular when it was launched, it did not win the favor of investors overall. The cumulative trading volume of Dogecoin funds is approximately US$300 million, which is much lower than that of other altcoin ETF peers such as Hyperliquid (US$2.1 billion), Zcash (US$1.5 billion) and Chainlink (US$680 million).
