Cryptocurrency market trends: Bitcoin remains stable above $83,000, with privacy coins and small-cap tokens leading the way.
In the overall cryptocurrency market, Bitcoin’s dominance continues to strengthen, with prices hovering above $83,000. Meanwhile, mainstream assets such as Ethereum, XRP, and Solana have seen moderate increases. Notably, privacy-oriented tokens have performed better than some large-cap cryptocurrencies, with Monero and Zcash achieving significant gains.
Mainstream assets remain stable.
According to CoinGecko data, Bitcoin has risen by 1.1% in the past 24 hours, closing at $83,655.56, with a total market value of approximately $1.68 trillion. Ethereum’s intraday increase is similar to Bitcoin’s, with prices at $2,510.52. This further confirms that large-cap cryptocurrencies tend to exhibit relatively stable price movements.
Other mature assets also show similar trends. However, as traders shift their focus away from the most popular coins, individual differences become apparent. BNB increased by 0.6% to $744.25, with a market value of $99.11 billion; XRP also rose by 0.6%, reaching $1.37, with a 24-hour trading volume of approximately $1.62 billion. In contrast, Solana increased by 1.1% to $107.63, with a 24-hour trading volume of $2.93 billion. Additionally, TRON increased by 0.5% to $0.3311, indicating that most major crypto assets are showing slight growth.
Privacy-oriented tokens and small-cap coins perform exceptionally well.
Although the performance of mainstream assets was relatively modest, privacy-oriented tokens achieved significantly higher percentage gains. Zcash (ZEC) increased by 5.2%, reaching $1,265.49; Monero (XMR) rose by 4.2%, reaching $554.10. Meanwhile, Dogecoin (DOGE) gained 1.5%, reaching $0.08476, while Hyperliquid (HYPE) remained stable at $82.27. This comparison further highlights the diversity of market performance. The sectors with the largest gains on that day were those involving cryptocurrencies with small market capitalizations. Doge Pepe (DOPE) led the way, with a remarkable increase of 103.4%, reaching $0.0267 per unit. Its trading volume reached $8.18 million. Gains Network (GNS) followed closely, increasing by 94.3% to $0.706 per unit, with a 24-hour trading volume of approximately $17.5 million. Swarm Network (TRUTH) rose by 48.5%, reaching $0.02198 per unit, and Bitway (BTW) increased by 46.2%, reaching $2.60 per unit. These tokens were among those that performed particularly well on that day. In addition, Artificial Inu (AI) increased by 44.3%, reaching $0.12 per unit, with a trading volume of $18.53 million. StonkBroker (STONKBROKER) increased by 39.4%. Quack AI (Q) also saw a significant increase, rising by 31.7% to $0.04866 per unit. These data clearly show the large gap between cryptocurrencies with small market capitalizations and the market leaders. Although these tokens’ gains exceeded those of Bitcoin and Ethereum, these figures only represent the situation during a specific trading period, not a sustained trend shift. Overall, Bitcoin continues to maintain its dominant position in terms of valuation. However, the strongest percentage gains on that day indeed came from privacy-oriented tokens and cryptocurrencies with small market capitalizations.
