XRP Cryptocurrency analyst Dark Defender points to key resistance levels for XRP that may determine the next major move for an asset
Cryptocurrency analyst Dark Defender (@DefendDark) identifies a key level for XRP that may determine the next major directional move for the asset. Currently, XRP is trading at close to $1.52, which puts it at what Dark Defender calls "The Gate," or $1.5692. This level corresponds to a Fibonacci expansion of 85.40% on its weekly chart. Analysts said assets were "very close to the door." His analysis suggests that this level could lead to significant growth.
Chart Technical Analysis
The weekly chart contains multiple layers of technical details. A yellow downtrend line has served as resistance over multiple time frames, extending from early 2025 after assets surged more than 500% and running through recent price movements around current prices.
XRP is currently approaching this trend line from below while testing the $1.5692 area. The convergence of these two resistance points makes this level even more important technically.
