The trading experience is like a stablecoin
This fund differs from traditional products in its storage location and trading time. In February this year, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) granted WisdomTree an exemption from relief, allowing its fund shares to be traded and settled around the clock, with the company's broker-dealer as the main counterparty and denominated in USDC stablecoins.
Peck explained: "This creates a continuity tool that allows people to enjoy the yields of money market funds while maintaining a chain status in their wallets."
The fund has a minimum investment threshold as low as $1 and is open to any U.S. individual and business that can pass basic authentication.
Provides compliant investment opportunities for retail investors
For Pham, this opportunity lies with the millions of users who already use wallets to speculate. "Imagine if they had access to safe, regulated investment products?" She asked,"You will get a stable return. Why not?"
Retail investors will soon be able to access WTGXX funds directly from MoonPay wallets. Fam described a "phased rollout" plan: first opening API access to MoonPay partners, and then expanding to other wallet platforms.
