Chainlink announces two new integrations that continue to promote cross-chain bridging and real-world asset pricing infrastructure development
On September 11,@chainlink announced two new integration collaborations, marking that its infrastructure continues to maintain strong momentum in the areas of cross-chain bridging and real-world asset (RWA) pricing.
Forever Money introduces native TAO to Robinhood Chain via CCIP
@forevermoney_ai (Bittensor Bridge Protocol) is using Chainlink's Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP) to introduce native $TAO tokens to Robinhood Chain. The bridging solution extracts TAO from the Bittensor network and deploys it into an automated liquidity vault, with CCIP providing security layer support.
This integration continues the established model formed around Robinhood Chain's infrastructure: As an Ethereum-based Layer 2 network, Robinhood Chain uses Chainlink as the official data and cross-chain oracle layer when the main network is launched, and CCIP, Data Streams and Data Feeds are all launched on the first day.
Connecting native $TAO to this ecosystem opens up a new distribution channel for Bittensor's tokens on one of the most watched new Layer 2 networks. With the support of Chainlink CCIP, the Bittensor ecosystem has been expanded to the Robinhood Chain, providing TAO with a new distribution channel.
GMTrade deploys Chainlink Data Streams to enable round-the-clock commodity market trading
In a separate announcement, the decentralized exchange (DEX)@gmtrade_xyz, which focuses on RWA perpetual contracts, is integrating $LINK Data Streams to run a round-the-clock commodity trading market. The platform launches perpetual contract trading for commodities including gold (XUG), silver (XAG) and WTI crude oil, supported by real-time pricing by Chainlink Data Streams.
Choosing a oracle is a key part of the product design. Price data is obtained through Chainlink Data Streams RWA Advanced (v11), a "pull-based" oracle system that provides the latest price data when executing transactions rather than relying on periodic updates.
This is crucial for commodity markets. Traditional "push-based" oracle machines are updated on a fixed schedule, resulting in possible deviations from the actual market price between updates, and this spread may be exploited when commodity prices fluctuate due to news events. In contrast, Data Streams can effectively avoid such risks.
GMTrade's strategy focuses on the RWA space, covering stocks, foreign exchange, commodities and indices, expanding the range of tools available to crypto-native traders. Currently, the platform has listed nearly 90 markets, covering foreign exchange, commodities, indices and stocks, and all prices are provided by Chainlink Data Streams.
The introduction of commodity perpetual contracts removes a significant limitation in traditional markets: For decades, investors were unable to trade during evenings, weekends and holidays, while market prices continued to fluctuate. Today, this obstacle has been broken.
Taken together, these two integrations reflect broader trends in the DeFi ecosystem: Chainlink's service suite-including CCIP for cross-chain asset mobility and Data Streams for low-latency off-site pricing-is gradually being adopted as the core infrastructure and is widely used in every corner of DeFi.
