Binance launches ETF wealth management products, and launched the first batch of 11 U.S. listed funds

On September 15, Binance officially launched the "ETF Wealth Management" service. The first batch of the service includes 11 U.S. exchange-traded funds (ETFs) that invest mainly in treasury bonds and investment-grade bonds. This move marks a new step for Binance in expanding the field of traditional financial products.

Product Positioning and Core Strategy

According to the announcement released by Binance, this service is located in its "Earn"(Earning/Financial Management) section and aims to provide qualified users with a channel dedicated to obtaining traditional financial products. These products mainly focus on cash management and income-oriented investment strategies. Users place orders through "Binance Stock Trading" and hold the actual ETF shares, thereby obtaining corresponding economic benefits.

The ETF wealth management product launched this time is not a savings product and does not provide fixed returns to investors. Since ETF prices fluctuate with the market and cash allocation depends on the performance of the underlying fund, users need to bear corresponding market risks. Even in short-term Treasury products, ETF prices can still be affected by factors such as interest rates, bond prices, creditworthiness and market liquidity.

Product classification and investment maturity

Binance divided the first 11 ETFs into three different investment maturity categories to match the funding needs of different users:

    • Alpaca Securities LLC:
