Cryptocurrency regulatory investigation seeks Hyperliquid and Crypto.com records

Hyperliquid 交易时机引发对用户检查的质疑

Comer asked if Hyperliquid could identify account holders and refer suspicious transactions to U.S. law enforcement. His crypto regulatory inquiry required customer verification policies, monitoring thresholds and records of previously flagged accounts. Lawmakers also sought a record of forecast markets involving Fed decisions, elections and geopolitical outcomes.

Another request covers people who hold or have applied for U.S. government security clearance. The letter also asked Hyperliquid how to collect, store and use customer data.

Crypto regulatory review covers employee betting and PredictIt

Crypto.com has received a separate request to review differences between its international exchange and Crypto.com Derivatives North America. Comer asked CEO Kris Marszalek to provide records of employee transactions involving activity contracts related to confidential company decisions. These decisions include token listings, delisting, liquidity arrangements and custody matters. His letter also sought to record suspected attempts to circumvent geographical restrictions.

This part of the crypto regulatory review also involves government officials trading contracts linked to the results of cryptocurrency regulatory. Lawmakers are demanding information on information isolation measures to prevent employees from learning about pending government actions through legal, compliance or government affairs teams. They also sought records of compliance with Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) requirements.

Aristotle Exchange faces questions about customer verification and political event trading in PredictIt predicts markets. The crypto regulatory investigation also reviewed the removal of PredictIt per contract trader limit under CFTC Letters 25-20. Lawmakers asked whether the change affected liquidity, trading size or insider trading testing. At the request of the Aristotle Exchange, Comer asked PredictIt to provide staff-level briefings.
