Ripple CEO Brad Garlinhaus took the stage at the XRP Las Vegas conference and told the audience that the past few years have been "a wonderful journey." He confirmed that regulatory progress is "an extremely important part of this chapter."
Cryptocurrency commentator Michelle Kirby captured this information and made it clear to her followers that the window for accumulating XRP at retail friendly prices is rapidly closing.
Kirby said that the confidentiality agreement (NDA) previously signed by Ripple is gradually expiring. She believes the price of XRP will shock millions of people, and points out that new contracts are emerging every day and institutions are being laid out. Once these institutions enter the market, she expects them to squeeze retail investors out of the market.
She has been watching the evolution of the situation, and her remarks reveal a sense of urgency. She firmly believes that the price levels XRP is about to reach will surprise millions of people.
THE#XRPPRICE IS GOING TO SHOCK MILLIONS OF PEOPLE

YOU HAD PLENTY OF TIME TO ACCUMULATE#XRPAT CHEAP PRICES! INSTITUTIONS WILL PRICE RETAIL OUT!# Crypto#XRP#CLARITYActpic.twitter.com/T7ZaeaSqRZ- Michelle KirbyN (@MichellekirbL)August 27, 2026
Institutions won't wait
Kirby's warning carries weight in the current environment. Legal and contractual barriers that once kept large players out are fading. A federal judge has ruled that XRP itself is not a security. Garlinhouse unequivocally confirmed this at the conference. Institutions need this clarity before investing money, and now they have it. Retail investors who have not yet accumulated XRP have little time to buy at current prices. Kirby believes that the upcoming price shock will surprise millions of investors. Those who wait for more certainty before buying may find that prices have risen when they act. The accumulation window will not be open indefinitely. Kirby sees that window closing as the NDA expires and previously confidential contracts become public. Each disclosure adds to the picture already constructed within the institution that retail investors see it too late.
Ripple's commitment remains firm
Galinghouse emphasized at the XRP Las Vegas conference that Ripple and XRP share exactly the same position. The company remains the world's largest holder of XRP. His words were clear: "We are the most vital stakeholders in XRP's success. We will continue to be the most vital stakeholders in XRP's success." This institutional commitment from the issuer itself is crucial. He also mentioned RLUSD directly, pointing out that it would not replace XRP. Both assets perform their duties in the same ecosystem. Ripple's strategy includes multiple steps, all of which point to increasing XRP's global utility, increased liquidity, and increased adoption rates.
The expiration of NDA, the emergence of new contracts, and the expansion of institutional access channels together constitute a specific and shrinking window period. Once institutions fully enter the market, Kirby expects them to completely crowd out retail investors.
