Evernorth plans to go beyond simply holding XRP and explore new strategies for institutional lending and decentralized finance.
Evernorth plans to take proactive measures beyond simply holding XRP and incorporate institutional lending and decentralized finance (DeFi) into its strategic blueprint for XRP treasury business. Cryptocurrency researcher SMQKE quoted a SBI Group presentation on social media platform X to reveal Evernorth's expected approach to managing its XRP holdings.
SMQKE pointed out: "Evernorth will implement proactive measures to increase the value of XRP." He clearly outlined two established strategies: providing loans to institutional investors and leveraging the decentralized financial ecosystem. The researcher emphasized that the information was well documented and attached a photo of SBI Group detailing the company's planned operations.
SBI Group invested US$200 million
The presentation disclosed in detail the funds raised by Evernorth. SBI Group invested US$200 million in cash, while Evernorth raised a total of more than US$1 billion through a combination of spot XRP and cash.
The article mentioned that Ripple, Chris Larsen, institutional investors and crypto asset exchanges all participated in the financing. The document also makes clear that Evernorth plans to increase asset value through proactive measures rather than passive holding of XRP. To this end, the document specifically identifies lending to institutional investors and the use of decentralized finance as core means. These activities will provide Evernorth with more ways to deploy its XRP holdings while maintaining its focus on the XRP treasury model.
Evernorth sets Nasdaq listing schedule
According to the presentation, Evernorth plans to list on the Nasdaq market in the United States through a business merger with special purpose acquisition company Armada Acquisition Corp. II under the ticker symbol XRPN.
In the comment area under the SMQKE post, user XRPBROJJEDAN provided a specific schedule for the Nasdaq debut. Commentary said Evernorth is expected to complete SPAC trading on October 7 and start trading under the XRPN code on October 8.
However, user Duke put forward a completely different view. He criticized exaggerated XRP forecasts over the past few years, claiming influencers benefited from the continued bullish narrative surrounding the asset. Duke also questioned whether some commentators presented speculative expectations as a given fact.
Still, SMQKE's post focused on the operating plans detailed in the SBI Group presentation, particularly Evernorth's intention to use XRP for lending and DeFi activities rather than limited to passive ownership. If Evernorth moves forward with these plans, the company could provide a clearer example of how XRP's treasury business generates actual activity around its positions.
