Ethereum Price Analysis: Daily Chart

Ethereum has experienced a strong rebound since its June lows and is currently consolidating below $2500 after regaining multiple key technical positions. The daily structure has improved significantly, but ETH is still struggling in key resistance areas, and the latest active buying and selling flow data suggests that aggressive buying behavior has not yet fully confirmed this trend.

The daily chart shows that ETH has seen a clear structural recovery from the US$1500 region. Subsequently, ETH regained the $1900 range and broke through the $2000 mark. The latest wave of push pushed the price to $2500. The most important development is that prices broke through the previous band high of about $2450 and finally hit a higher high after months of decline. However, asset prices remain just below the $2500 resistance zone and have not yet effectively broken through this zone after being rejected again today. As a result, further upside may require a decisive daily break rather than another rejection in the same area.

The 100-day and 200-day moving averages also showed a more positive trend. After being regained, both moving averages have turned upward, with the 200-day moving average near $2000 being the most important support element that bulls must defend.

If ETH can establish a daily close above the $2500 resistance zone, the next major upside target visible on the chart will be a band high of $3400. Conversely, if it is rejected, ETH may fall back into the $2,000 - 2,100 region, which seems to be a key structural support level that must be held at all costs.

ETH/USDT 4-hour chart

The 4-hour chart shows that most of the recent gains have been achieved through an aggressive vertical pull from about $1900 to $2500. Since then, ETH has been consolidating in a narrow range, roughly between $2350 and $2550.

This consolidation is very important because it occurs after a strong driving breakthrough. ETH did not immediately retract all of its gains, but spent weeks remaining above the previous breakthrough area. The nearest K-line is moving towards the upper boundary of the range.

Therefore, the US$2,400 - 2,500 region is a key turning point in the near term. Staying near this area will preserve a bullish structure and may allow another attempt at an upward breakout. This would strengthen the continuity assumption and potentially expose the $2800 area before hitting a larger $3400 resistance area.

On the downside, a break below the lower edge of the consolidation range of around $2400 will weaken the immediate layout and may trigger a deeper correction towards the $2250 order block. At the same time, the 4-hour RSI remains positive despite cooling from recent peaks. This suggests that kinetic energy is still improving, but not as overextended as it was immediately after the breakthrough.

Sentiment Analysis

The Take-Buy/Sell Ratio chart provides a more cautious signal. The indicator's 30-day moving average recently fell below the neutral level of 1.0 again and currently hovers around 0.995, which means that aggressive sell orders slightly exceed aggressive buy orders on exchanges.

It is worth noting that at the same time, ETH prices are still close to $2500. In other words, the latest price strength has not been accompanied by a significant increase in active buying pressure.

This divergence does not necessarily negate the bullish technical structure, but it suggests that during the current consolidation period, ETH may need another wave of real spot or aggressive futures demand if it is to achieve a greater breakthrough. If the active bid-ask ratio rebounds above 1.0 and the price achieves a decisive breakthrough above $2500, it will provide a stronger confirmation of a continuation of the trend and may trigger a real market recovery after months of downtrend.
