Cryptocurrency 'billionaire' reveals the truth about XRP
A fan account named Jake Claver recently posted a video in which Sidney M. Brewer (tagged as "cryptocurrency billionaire") made bold remarks about XRP. This fragment has attracted widespread attention in the cryptocurrency circle.
Brewer is a banker and financial strategist whose independently verified billionaire identity is in doubt. In the video, he details why XRP holders should treat their tokens as financial infrastructure, rather than as a windfall to cash out.
Brewer's core message: Holding and leveraging
Brewer's position is very clear. He recommends that XRP holders deposit at least 10,000 tokens in a cold wallet in an irrevocable personal trust. He went on to point out that the strategy should be to "leverage it, use it as collateral, and put everything on the blockchain." He believes that selling XRP will cause tokens to flow out of the hands of holders and re-enter the open market for circulation, and he believes that institutions and traditional financial players will take the opportunity to absorb these tokens in large quantities.
He described the financial system as two competing camps. On one side is what he calls the "deep government faction", namely the Bank for International Settlements (BIS) and private central banks; on the other side is the network of private banking institutions he is associated with, which he says has been preparing for blockchain-driven financial transformation for years.
Asset tokenization becomes the core of strategy
Brewer not only dissuades holders from selling, but also advises them to tokenize and deploy assets, properties, businesses and resources on the blockchain. He believes that once assets are tokenized, holders can use them as collateral to gain liquidity without triggering a sale. He said people who go through this process are eligible to become what he calls "private bankers."
He specifically warned of tax risks. Newcomer XRP millionaires will face a taxable event if they sell tokens. Using converted crypto proceeds to buy assets such as cars and homes is the key to what he said "they can set you up because you don't know how to play the game correctly."
Connection to the CLARITY Act
Jake Claver's fan account connects Brewer's views to the CLARITY Act and marks them as a "bullish signal." The CLARITY Act is a proposed U.S. legislation designed to establish a regulatory framework for digital assets. XRP holders have been closely monitoring its progress, and a closing debate vote on Tuesday, September 15 will move the bill forward in the Senate.
Regardless of his qualifications, Brewer's views have some influence in the XRP community. His argument is clearly structured: hold, leverage and tokenize. Whether this theory can be realized depends on the development of the regulatory environment and the evolution of XRP's position in the market.
