2. 异常做空账户行为
Another high-profile situation was that minutes before the price crash, four newly created wallets deposited a total of US$1 million in USDC into the Hyperliquid platform and established short orders with a leverage of 40 times on positions in approximately 150 bitcoins (worth $12.5 million). Although the timing points of these transactions are highly consistent with price declines, there is currently no evidence that these accounts have inside information or manipulated market movements, which only reflects the precise timing of highly leveraged short orders.
Market Impact and Future Outlook
This decline of approximately US$2,000 once again highlights the amplifying effect of highly leveraged trading in the market. Liquidation of US$430 million in the past four hours, especially the rapid unwinding of long positions, has exacerbated downward pressure. Ethereum fell about 4% to below US$2,600, and altcoins such as XRP, DOGE and ADA also suffered heavy losses, with the largest drop of 6%, indicating that selling pressure has spread from Bitcoin to the entire crypto market.
At present, there are still two main speculations in the market about the cause of the decline: one is the transfer of U.S. government assets, and the other is the highly leveraged short positions established in the early period.
