On August 14th, the price of Bitcoin exceeded the historical high of $124,000 per coin.

The price of physical gold also rose significantly, reaching over $3374 per ounce, recovering some of the losses from earlier in the year.

Bitcoin’s price once again surpassed the $124,000 mark.

It seems that investors are continuing to increase their investment in global risk assets during this period.

According to data from Bitcoin Treasures, in the second quarter of 2025, U.S.-listed companies purchased approximately 131,000 Bitcoins, a 18% increase compared to the previous quarter. Strategy is the leading holder of Bitcoins, currently holding around 629,000 coins. Following closely behind is Bitcoin mining company Mara, which owns 50,000 Bitcoins.

In addition to Bitcoin, other major cryptocurrencies also saw significant increases in prices. Ethereum (ETH), Dogecoin (DOGE), and Ada (ADA) all experienced noticeable rises.

According to CoinGlass data, within the past 24 hours, there were 107,000 people who suffered losses, with total losses amounting to $431 million. Of these losses, those from long positions amounted to $149 million, while short positions amounted to $283 million. The largest single loss occurred on Bybit-BTCUSD, with a value of $10 million.

Industry analysts point out that the continuous rise in Bitcoin is due to the favorable legislative environment created by the Trump administration for digital assets. Additionally, strategies like those employed by companies such as Strategy to accumulate Bitcoin are becoming increasingly popular. This corporate strategy has also spread to other cryptocurrencies like Ether, driving up the value of all digital assets.

Last night, stocks across the United States rose significantly, with the S&P 500 index and the Nasdaq index reaching new highs. Chris Newhouse, head of research at DeFi trading firm Ergonia, said that there is a positive correlation between cryptocurrencies and the stock market. It seems that overall market sentiment is positive.
