ETH Arthur Hayes, co-founder of BitMEX, has once again expressed his views. On the 21st, he stated that he is very optimistic about the future of Ethereum (ETH), believing that prices are likely to experience a significant increase. And not just words—he even revealed that he has personally bought more ETH. Now, Hayes is not just a prominent figure in the crypto community; he also serves as the chief investment officer of Maelstrom, a biotech company. This adds further credibility to his opinions.
The prospects of Ethereum and the favorable market conditions
Hayes has updated his previous price target, predicting that Ethereum could rise to $10,000 to $20,000 before this market cycle ends.
This prediction is higher than his earlier expectations—he previously predicted $5,000 in May and $10,000 in June.
At the time of his statement, the trading price of Ethereum was $4,630. Due to the hint from Federal Reserve Chairman Powell about possible interest rate cuts, Ethereum’s value has increased by 90% in the past 60 days.
Hayes’s optimism stems from several market factors. He believes that the widespread credit expansion in the U.S. economy will be a major driving force behind Ethereum’s climb to $20,000.
Recent actions by institutional investors have also supported this expectation. For example, asset management giant BlackRock has invested $440 million, and daily inflows into ETFs have exceeded $500 million, further boosting market momentum.

Hayes的过往预测与市场整体展望
Hayes以大胆的市场预测而闻名。早在2024年的一次活动中，他就曾预测比特币(BTC)将在2028年前涨至100万美元。
他此次对以太坊的预测，显示出市场对该资产的乐观情绪正在升温。过去两个月，以太坊的表现已超越比特币和Solana(SOL)等主要加密资产。
渣打银行同样持乐观预期，预测以太坊将在今年底涨至7,500美元，并可能在2028年达到25,000美元。
Hayes不仅看好以太坊，对比特币也保持积极态度。他认为，法定货币价值的下滑以及传统金融体系的信贷扩张，将是推动这两类资产增长的关键动力。
