RLUSD Ripple teamed up with Stripe and Tempo to enable AI proxy payments based on XRP and RLUSD
Ripple is leveraging its digital asset ecosystem to support artificial intelligence (AI) proxy payments through XRP and RLUSD. This new feature relies on a payment protocol jointly developed by Stripe and Tempo, enabling the seamless connection of autonomous AI payments with blockchain assets.
Ripple's move aims to further expand the application scenarios of digital assets in the field of artificial intelligence. The new capabilities allow AI agents to make blockchain-based payments through Ripple's digital asset ecosystem. AI agents refer to software systems with different levels of autonomy and capable of completing specific tasks. Giving these systems the ability to access payment infrastructure will allow them to automatically pay for services, digital resources or other transactions in automated workflows.
XRP and RLUSD integrated into AI payment infrastructure
This AI proxy payment integration launched by Ripple introduces XRP and RLUSD into the emerging autonomous machine-to-machine (M2M) trading market. Among them, XRP provides access to Ripple's mature digital asset ecosystem, while RLUSD serves as a stablecoin option to support trading scenarios that prefer value-stable units.
Using blockchain assets may also allow AI-driven payments to exceed traditional payment time constraints, depending on the underlying infrastructure supporting the transaction. In addition, the participation of Stripe and Tempo protocols further connects traditional payment technologies with blockchain-based settlement methods.
