MetaMask 因安全事件退出验证节点
MetaMask 于 9 月 30 日披露称，其正在“应对影响部分基础设施的持续安全事件”，并作为预防措施退出了受影响的验证节点。该公司在 10 月 1 日的更新中表示：“根据目前的调查，没有迹象表明 MetaMask 钱包或客户资金受到影响。”
安全研究人员 Kaden 估计，此次退出涉及约 17,000 个验证节点，持有 ETH 数量约为 52.3 万枚。CoinDesk 报道指出，Kaden 还估算约有 0.36 枚 ETH 的区块奖励被转移至一个非预期地址。截至 10 月 1 日，MetaMask 尚未确认上述数据。
Lido 预计 MetaMask 验证节点将于 10 月 7 日前完成退出
Liquidity pledge agreement Lido said in its forum post that MetaMask Staking's verification node in its agreement is expected to complete its withdrawal (but not full withdrawal) by October 7, 2026. Lido pointed out that these exits can result in missed revenue and may face downtime penalties if the verification node goes offline.
Lido estimates that due to the extended admission queue, withdrawing ETH may take up to 45 days to return through the withdrawal, withdrawal and re-admission cycle. On Monday, Lido's contributors proposed setting MetaMask Staking's target limit in the protocol pledge module to zero to stop allocating new deposits to the operator. This change plan will be submitted to Lido's next online vote.
Lido emphasized in a September 30 announcement that "stETH holders do not need to take any action."
Market background: As the ETH price stabilizes around US$2,700, the Ethereum ETF has seen an increase in seller power.
