Bitcoin Price Analysis: Daily Chart Perspective

Bitcoin has rebounded strongly from the US$60,000 region in the past few months and is currently trading at approximately US$84,700. The chart shows that the market structure is improving, but BTC is approaching the key resistance area of $88,000. At the same time, the active buying flow of futures once again turned to buyers, providing a positive momentum signal, although prices still need to break through resistance before the broader upward structure can be extended.

The daily chart shows significant structural improvement since summer. After BTC established a bottom in the US$60,000 region, it finally broke through sharply from the US$66,000 region after several weeks of consolidation. After breaking through the $75,000 area, the market entered a sequence of higher highs and higher lows.

BTC is currently trading around US$84,700, with the direct resistance zone extending to US$86,000 to US$88,000. The region has repeatedly tried to curb recent gains and is therefore a major obstacle to the current recovery. Therefore, if the daily line closes above US$88,000, it will strengthen the bullish structure and open up space to the main resistance area near US$96,000.

Below, the first meaningful support level is in the range of $74,000 to $78,000. This area was previously used as a consolidation area before the latest impulsive market and could become an important block of bullish orders if current resistance levels are rejected and trigger a deeper correction. Below it, another significant area of support is near $66,000.

The 100-day and 200-day moving averages also take on a more constructive shape. The 100-day moving average turned sharply upward and moved closer to the 200-day moving average around $72,000. As long as BTC remains above these moving averages, the broader recovery structure remains intact. In addition, a bullish cross could be the key emotional driver pushing prices back above $90,000 in the coming weeks.

BTC/USDT 4-hour chart analysis

The 4-hour chart provides a more accurate view of the current consolidation. After soaring from the $75,000 support area, BTC quickly moved towards $86,000 and has been trading sideways since then.

The most obvious short-term structure is a slightly declining range, with an upper boundary of approximately US$86,000 and a lower boundary of approximately US$82,000. BTC recently tested the upper boundary and was rejected, falling back to around $84,700.

This makes the lower boundary near US$82,000 the short-term level that requires first attention. A break below this area could expose a broader $74,000 to $78,000 support area, especially as selling momentum accelerates. On the contrary, if the 4-hour chart clearly breaks through US$86,000, it indicates that the buyer is trying to resolve the consolidation situation upwards.

However, the RSI on the 4-hour chart has returned to near 50 after a brief rise, indicating that short-term momentum is relatively balanced. This is consistent with sideways price movements rather than a strong trend in either direction.

Therefore, the overall setting is still in the consolidation stage after a strong rally. The key technical question is whether the range breaks through US$86,000 upwards or whether BTC loses its US$82,000 floor support first.

On-chain data analysis

The chart provided specifically shows the 90-day active volume spread (CVD) for Bitcoin futures, which measures the cumulative difference between buyers and sellers of aggressive futures. The green period indicates active buying dominance, and the red period indicates active selling dominance.

The latest reading has turned back to green after the recent decline from highs, which was dominated by neutral to bearish futures flows. This is noteworthy because the recent recovery towards $85,000 has been accompanied by a new round of aggressive buying in the futures market.

Recent green readings suggest that traders are once again mainly picking up lifting offers rather than actively taking orders. In the chart's historical record, sustained green periods are often accompanied by strong price increases, although the indicator itself does not guarantee continuity of the market.

The key issue is that futures buying occurs below the US$86,000 resistance zone. If aggressive buying persists and BTC breaks through this area, this will confirm that the current consolidation is being addressed through stronger demand. If CVD remains green but prices fail repeatedly around $86,000 to $88,000, it may indicate that aggressive futures buyers are being absorbed by sellers at resistance levels.

Overall, the chart shows that the structure is improving, with BTC firmly above the summer bottom, and active futures buying flow once again turning to buyer dominance. For the next directional move, the $86,000 above and the $82,000 below are immediate levels that need to be closely watched.
