SRX Global announced a US$1.5 million investment to launch an AI-driven ETF product line through the EMJX platform
SRX Global Inc. In a filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on October 6, 2026, the company committed to investing US$1.5 million to launch a series of artificial intelligence (AI)-driven exchange-traded funds (ETFs) through its EMJX platform. The first fund is expected to go online in the first quarter of 2027, adopting a proactively managed digital asset hedging strategy.
Eric Jackson will serve as president of the EMJX platform, managing the fund family and working with Kupa AI co-founder Andy Kim to advance the plan. SRX Global said the move is aimed at leveraging its existing AI and transaction infrastructure for commercialization rather than building a completely new product line from scratch.
Lower the threshold for institutional-level strategies to benefit retail investors
SRX Global pointed out that the first fund in the plan will focus on "proactively managed digital asset hedging strategies" with the goal of launching early in the first quarter of 2027. The company emphasizes that through the ETF structure, complex hedging technologies traditionally mainly for institutional investors can be provided to retail investors in the form of exchange-traded instruments that are familiar to the public, thereby avoiding the use of more closed forms such as private equity funds or managed accounts.
As President of EMJX Platform, Eric Jackson will use his investment background to guide how to apply AI-driven hedging strategies to digital asset exposure management. In addition, SRX also announced that it plans to pay dividends directly to shareholders on ETF positions as part of a broader capital strategy related to the new platform.
Focusing on risk management to fill market gaps
Kent Cunningham, CEO of SRX Global, said in the announcement: "Bringing EMJX to the market through an ETF allows our unique intelligent system to reach a wider investor base."
This action makes SRX Global one of a growing number of small listed companies trying to diversify their income beyond their core businesses through AI managed fund products. By specifically positioning the first fund as a digital asset hedging strategy, SRX is betting that the market demand for exposure to risk-managed crypto assets has not been fully met compared to simple directional speculation on token prices. This is seen as an under-tapped market segment in the wave of many cryptocurrency-related ETFs launched over the past two years.
If this initial hedge-focused product gains enough investor interest after its launch in early 2027, EMJX will launch more other fund products.
