Ethereum ETF extended its eight-game losing streak
At the same time, Ethereum ETF recorded a net redemption of US$72.5 million on Thursday, leaving it in a net outflow for eight consecutive trading days. During the outflow period that began on September 29, the fund lost a total of approximately US$641.3 million in net worth.
Currently, Bitcoin ETFs have accumulated net outflows of $407.4 million in October, while Ethereum ETFs have $578.9 million. Taken together, the total net outflow from the Fund for the month amounted to $986.3 million.
Market dynamics and price performance
The withdrawal of funds coincided with the weakening of Bitcoin's rebound momentum. According to CoinGecko data, bitcoin prices fell to a low of $80,427 on Thursday; at the time of writing, they were trading at $82,506.
Analyst firm Glassnode pointed out that if spot trading volume rebounds and ETFs show signs of buying, it will indicate that Bitcoin's recent breakthrough has real market support.
