Following三星电子宣布将于2026年10月底为符合条件的美国Galaxy用户推出USDC稳定币功能
三星电子美国分公司于10月7日宣布，Samsung Wallet应用将在2026年10月的最后一周，向符合条件的美国Galaxy设备用户新增支持USDC（美元稳定币）的功能。该功能将支持将资金转移至兼容的加密钱包以及位于全球60多个国家的合格银行账户。
覆盖8200万台美区Galaxy设备
Solana基金会同时表示，此次部署将使USDC在Solana网络上实现跨境转账，覆盖范围涉及8200万台美国市场的Galaxy设备。然而，访问权限将受到限制，仅面向满足三星注册、身份验证及生物特征认证要求的使用者开放。
此次公告的核心是在Samsung Wallet应用中为美国符合条件的用户引入稳定币转账功能，计划于2026年10月最后一周正式上线。三星方面指出，该服务不仅支持兼容的加密钱包，还支持向境外的合格银行账户进行转账。Solana的公告则进一步明确了USDC跨境转账将在其网络上进行，并确认了上述8200万台的设备覆盖规模。不过，两家机构均未公布10月最后几周内的具体启动日期。
Bastion、Coinbase Prime、Solana与Sui的角色分工
Samsung said the USDC will be the first stablecoin to receive support under the cooperation arrangement. At the specific execution level, Bastion will provide stablecoin infrastructure support, while Coinbase Prime will serve as a sub-custodian role. In addition, Solana and Sui will provide blockchain infrastructure support respectively.
The role allocation among these companies shows that Samsung Wallet's new feature relies on an ecosystem of multiple providers, rather than having Samsung operate all stablecoins and custody components alone. The Solana Foundation's announcement specifically highlighted USDC transfers through the Solana network, while Samsung's statement clearly stated that both Solana and Sui are infrastructure support providers.
Qualification Verification and Transfer Fee Terms
Users must complete account registration, identity verification, and use biometric authentication technology before using this feature. Samsung's description makes it clear that the service by default targets only eligible U.S. Galaxy users, not all Wallet users.
Regarding the fee issue, Samsung stated that it will waive the handling fee for sending USDC to external wallets. But the company also warns that this does not mean that every transaction is completely free: the recipient's service provider may charge individual fees.
