Bitcoin ETF inflows reached US$3.8 billion, setting the strongest three-week record in 2026

The U.S. spot bitcoin ETF ushered in the strongest three-week inflow in 2026, with bitcoin prices fluctuating around US$80,000.

As of this week, U.S. listed spot bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) recorded their strongest three-week inflow cycle since 2026. During this period, Bitcoin prices were mainly traded around $80,000. According to SoValue data, the fund attracted a net inflow of $986.9 million during the week, bringing the cumulative net inflow over the past three weeks to $3.8 billion.

As of Friday, the funds 'total net assets stood at $101.3 billion, having briefly risen to $103.3 billion; cumulative net inflows reached $55.6 billion. Although year-to-date net inflows are still about minus US$1 billion, this figure marks a significant reversal from the severe outflows in early 2026.


Bitcoin ETF inflows cooled after Thursday's surge.

The U.S. spot Bitcoin ETF attracted net inflows of $174.6 million on Friday, down sharply from nearly $731 million the day before. BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT), the largest spot Bitcoin ETF by assets, attracted $117.4 million on Friday, accounting for about 67% of the day's total net inflows, according to Farside Investors.


Daily spot Bitcoin ETF fund flow from Monday to Friday. Fidelity's Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund (FBTC) was another fund that recorded net inflows, attracting $57.2 million, while all other U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded no net inflows that day.

As capital inflows slowed, bitcoin prices fell from about $81,200 to briefly below $79,000 on Friday. According to CoinGecko, Bitcoin was trading at $79,716 at the time of this article's publication, and has still risen about 2.6% in the past seven days.


Inflows from Ethereum and XRP ETF weaken, and demand for Bitcoin strengthens

Inflows from Bitcoin ETF increased by approximately 7% compared with last week, while inflows from U.S. spot Ethereum and XRP ETF fell by approximately 74% and 83% respectively. According to SoValue data, inflows from the spot Ethereum ETF fell to $218.4 million from $824.4 million, while inflows from the XRP ETF fell to $19 million from $110.5 million.

Despite weakening inflows, Ethereum and XRP ETFs are still in positive income ranges this year. So far this year, the U.S. spot Ethereum ETF has recorded a net inflow of approximately US$863 million, while the XRP ETF has attracted approximately US$515 million in funding.
