According to data released by CryptoQuant on October 3, the number of SHIBs held by the exchange reached 88,076,900,000, the highest level since early June.
Data showed that net inflows to exchanges were positive, exceeding 288 billion SHIBs, indicating that more funds were transferred to exchanges than were withdrawn during the reporting period. These figures together reflect the coexistence of increased exchange supply and weaker prices, raising concerns about further selling pressure in the SHIB market. More tokens entering exchanges means an increase in the number of tokens available for trading, especially when holders transfer assets from external wallets.
